Geneviève Mottard

In a press release published today, Alain Dugal, FCPA, FCA, Chair of the Quebec CPA Order, is proud to announce the appointment of Geneviève Mottard, CPA, CA, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebec’s third largest professional order.

Mottard takes over from Daniel McMahon, who was recently appointed Rector of UQTR. Prior to her appointment, she was Regional Director for Eastern Canada at the Canadian Public Accountability Board. Mottard is well aware of the issues related to the Order’s primary mission of protecting the public. “Ms. Mottard takes the helm of a vibrant profession and an organization that has hit full stride four years after the unification of Quebec’s accounting orders,” said Dugal, FCPA, FCA. “I’m convinced that she will greatly enhance the profession’s visibility and positioning, as the Order takes on an ever-increasing societal role.”
