Pascale Langevin, Professor in Management Accounting and Control Systems at emlyon business school

Pascal Langevin is a professor in Management Accounting and Control Systems at emlyon business school and teaches control systems as well as managerial finance at the MBA, EMBA and Executive Education programs, where he has supervised many managerial and/or entrepreneurial projects. Pascal Langevin also held the positions of general manager in a small industrial firm and financial director in an outplacement company. He holds a PhD in management and his main research interests are in management control systems and their effects on decision makers’ motivation, behavior, and performance. Within this area, his recent research has focused on control of virtual teams, human capital measures, and the role of organizational justice in management control systems.

As part of his week-long visit at the CPA International Research Chair in Management Control, he will present a conference organised by the Groupe de recherche en sciences comptables (GRSC) on June 6, 2019. This conference is presented by the Department of Accounting Studies and is entitled: Subjective performance measures and perceived procedural justice: Exploring the combined effects of uncertainty and trust.
