The CPA International Research Chair in Management Control hosted, with HEC Montréal’s Executive Education, a group of 33 master’s degree students in Management Control and Organizational Audit at the Institut d’administration des entreprises de Paris (also known as IAE Paris or Sorbonne Graduate Business School), accompanied by their professor Marion Soulerot. Their visit to HEC Montréal was an opportunity to follow a programme of seminars and conferences, to carry out industrial visits or to discover Montréal.

After a one-week stay at the Chair, they have had the opportunity to visit the Québec CPA Order, the Groupe Marcelle, the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts and Richter, one of Canada’s largest independent financial consulting firms.

They also intended seminars with Hugo Lesley, Caroline Lambert and Samuel Sponem of the Department of Accounting Studies, as well as with Carl Robillard, Vice President, Business Development at Emyode. They finally exchanged ideas with the HEC Montréal CPA Student Committee.
